Email Marketing Tactics

It is so all about Tactics when one is using Email. It’s pretty hard to use email for adverting purposes. So many emails fly into people’s Inbox’s today that you have to shout to be heard, or you have to be different.

How can you be different.

I would love to give you a few tips that are in my FREE E-Book that you are welcome to down load.

4 Tips to help you with Your Email Marketing Campaign.

1.  Make the content of the email interesting.

So many email are long and boring. Best idea is to make them short, and not too many links in them so they get through the Spam Filters, the more the less likely they are to get through. So I try with mine to make them short to the point, and then send them to a webpage.

2.  If you buy a list, make sure it is qualified – that is, those email addresses are valid and they belong to people who have opted in to receive emails on products like yours.

I would never actually buy a list, but if you are a Network Marketer or and MLMer you may just do that. I have done that a few times in days gone by. They haven’t been very successful though. What I do find is that lists change hands alot so I would take the advice I give here as vital for your success, you do not want to be considered a spammer…

3.  Ideally, build your own list.

You need to do this, this is the best way, your very own list. How do you do that. Well I will just give you one tip here on that. Put a Capture Page in front of your Replicated website and start to capture peoples names and address that go to the site. It’s a simple process when you know how.

4.  Include an opt-in page on your web site, so people can sign up to receive email communications from you.

So vital and yet so many people leave this off. As said before you need to capture peoples names and emails so you can communicate with them.

My best tip I will leave for last…. USE Video Emails. I use these alot and they work. There are many companies around who do this and I use Generating Video for mine and you can even get a free trial. I would not use free services out there as many of them require that you put their advertising over all your videos. Abit annoying.
A short video here to help you on the way and talks about some of what you will discover in this amazing E-Book.

Internet Marketing Tactics: Traffic

Marketing Tactics That Attract Traffic

Attracting traffic to your site is a multi-faceted task when you start to learn internet marketing. You are trying to invite as many visitors as possible from all points of the globe, depending on your niche.

SEO Advertising Strategies

There are many internet marketing resources at our disposal today to accomplish the task and how quickly you access them and put them into action, will for the most part determine your rate of visitors and then actual sales. Becoming conscious of:

1. what the search engines are searching for,

2. how web browsers register your links, headers and website layout,

3. how backlinks from articles and promotion on other sites

contribute to rankings, are only some of the many aspects you should understand.

None of these aspects are complicated in themselves! It is just that you must become acquainted with these internet marketing strategies and utilise every one as if mustering a team of workhorses that will raise your page rankings to number 1.

Keyword Research Tool

One of the most crucial and successful marketing strategies to put into place is a powerful keyword research tool, such as EasyNicheFinder. Utilising this enables you to aim at the precise market by identifying what words people are keying in, what they are looking for the most often, with the least amount of competition and with the best likelihood of buying – very useful information!

Keyword Density & Domains

Once you have identified effective keywords, (preferably 5-10), ensure they are spread right through your website. Keyword density is one of the most helpful SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies because search engines like to give Internet users with the most relevant websites for particular search terms. Let those relevant websites be yours!

The very first spot your keywords should be found is in your domain name. This is an cost that is unavoidable but domains need not be as expensive as you may suppose and some exploration in this area will be well rewarded.  Keywords are King when you start internet marketing, so have them before you, literally on a Notepad, when you are establishing your website and working on your SEO.

Backlinks

Search engine tracking is founded on intricate algorithms attracted by activity on your site, appropriate and notable material that is keyword dense and reference to other sites throughout.   SEO is not only dependent on keywords, but also use of backlinks (also called inbound links) to other high ranking webpages, meta tagging (that is keyword-rich) headers (titles for posts and sub-headings within them), consistent activity on your site with articles, video input and so on.

Here’s a tip: hasten the process of search engines identifying you by registering with their directories – even the lesser ones.

Social Media

Last but not least, another resource for traffic is the use of social media: appropriate forums and platforms such as Yahoo Answers; popular social tools such as Facebook & Twitter and social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Technorati and Delicious. Becoming a cooperative member will win people’s faith and draw them to your site.

These are only some of the internet marketing tactics that will launch you to a page one ranking, and extremely fast.

Is Email Marketing Obsolete?

Is Email Marketing Obsolete?

That is a pretty startling question.  You no doubt have checked your email dozens of times today, sent numerous emails out and gotten that many or more in, so to say that as a mode of communication that email is obsolete would be a mistake.  Email is no more obsolete than letter writing or talking on the telephone is.  But it is safe to say that it’s possible that web based email marketing is no longer cutting edge and its era as a primary tool for internet marketing may be coming to an end, in its present form.

Email Direct Marketing Tool

When email first became popular, it virtually changed the way communication worked in a way that can only be compared to the invention of the telephone.  Email combined the quickness of a telephone conversation with the ability to document what was said in a letter writing exchange.  At the time, to be able to send an email that reached the recipient’s email box in a moment’s time, even if they were on the other side of the world, was mind blowing.

The internet marketing potential was tremendous.  As internet marketing became a genuine  mode of doing business, it grew up as the use of email grew up .  However there was trouble in paradise and I probably don’t have to tell you what the problems were.  It can be summed up in one word – spam.  Spam is nothing more than unwanted email communications usually from an internet marketer.  The corresponding experience outside of the internet is the Telemarketer phone call in the middle of dinner or junk mail and both are just as irritating and unwelcome as spam marketing emails.

Advertising and Promotion Strategy: to spam or not to spam

So in the last decade internet marketing using email as the primary mode of communication with your customers has grown in two parallel lines.  The legitimate side of email marketing and customer support has grown and become more sophisticated, respected and useful.  Many businesses were able to build impressive online business empires supported by email marketing and ongoing email communications with a growing customer base.  For thousands of online marketers, the idea of conducting business without emailing customers seems impossible.

But it was the other parallel line that grew like a cancer to the point that it snarled email communications and has interfered with email deliverability for  the many legitimate email based internet merchants working in cyberspace.  The spam merchants working with sophisticated mass mailing services and software have flooded email inboxes of every citizen of cyberspace to such an extent that, without spam control software, both at the server level and at the desk top level, it is virtually impossible to use email for routine purposes any more.

Spam control software has grown exponentially as well and become powerful and sophisticated.  It has also spawned a cottage industry which has imposed a whole new cost of operations on every email user in the world who wants to avoid the spam avalanche they will face if they go unprotected.  This has created resentment and distrust in the email system of communications in general and certainly toward online merchants who wish to use the internet for customer service and marketing.  A few have spoiled it for the whole.

Because of this ongoing war between spam operators and spam control software services, email deliverability has become a tedious chore to maintain and without constant oversight, an internet merchant can lose contact with its customers in short order.  For that reason, email could become more difficult as a valid and easy to use tool for marketing and customer communications.

Responsible Email Marketing

Meanwhile new forms of communications such as instant messaging, VOIP and WEB 2.0 interoperability have begun.  The chances are that we will see email marketing small business move away from email marketing to exploit these much more dynamic methods for connecting customers. This can be seen with the advent of social networking such as Twitter and Facebook.  And while email will never die as a cornerstone of online communications, from an internet marketing point of view, it is time for us all to find new and effective ways to establish responsible email marketing.
